We came home literally exhausted, so I decided to do a little search online and ended up on Amazon.

Welcome To Day Beds

Hello and welcome to my brand new blog all about day beds. I am sure we have all been in a situation where we have had company, whether wanted or not and they needed a place to sleep. Well not all of us have guest rooms in our home so they either take up on the couch or the floor. Personally I really don't like having to make anyone sleep on the floor. And well taking up on my couch, then it starts to look like a bus terminal. It wasn't bad when I was in college, but now I'm married and have kids. So I figured it was time to take things up a notch. I knew we would not be getting a bigger place any time soon, so we started to look at day beds and sleeper sofas. The problem with sleeper sofas is that they are so expensive and quite frankly I liked our original sofa. So we moved onto our next choice and that was day beds.

To be quite honest I was rather surprised when we started looking at day beds. They were not as expensive as I had originally thought and they were surprisingly pretty and versatile. We had decided to place this day bed into the office as it was the only room in the home that had any extra space. And considering that room has a rather modern look we wanted something to compliment it as well. In the end we decided to go with the Hillsdale Brookland Daybed. Honestly it was much more than we expected to put out, but we both really liked it and it went really well with the room.
